Rest and recreation at the biggest natural harbour of Mallorca: Port de Portocolom is located in the southeast at the coast of the island, far from mass tourism. Here, the initial character of the fishing harbour is emphasized as opposed to the appearance of other luxurious yacht harbours. The town of Portocolom is the complete opposite of the noisy and adventurous city of Palma. While taking a walk along the scenic fishing harbour or strolling through the alleys, you can discover the calm side of Mallorca.
The historic city of Portocolom stretches around the harbour area. Little boutiques make for possibilities to get a hold of unique souvenirs and Mallorquin fashion. The town Felanitx is only a short drive away. It is famous for its glas- and ceramic-products. An additional highlight: regional wines and liquors.
Live-concerts, open-air theater and gastronomic events: During the patron festivities Sant Augustí there is a two-week celebration in the municipality of Felanitx every August. New attractions enchant every year: From the traditional fire-run to the glorious parade over cake-tasting to the colourful fireworks there is something for all visitors.
