Port
Port de Portocolom
Port de Portocolom
Peace and relaxation await you in Mallorca's largest natural harbor: Port de Portocolom lies on the island's southeast coast, far removed from mass tourism. The authentic charm of this fishing port is entirely unpretentious. Portocolom offers the perfect counterpoint to the bustling and noisy city of Palma. As you stroll from the tranquil harbor through the charming streets of the old town, you'll discover the peaceful side of Mallorca.
SHOPPING
Portocolom's historic old town stretches around the harbor area. Here, small boutiques entice visitors with unique souvenirs and Mallorcan fashion. Felanitx is just a short drive away. This special town is famous for its glass and ceramic products. Another highlight: the regional wines and spirits produced locally.
EVENTS
Live concerts, open-air theater, and gourmet events: The municipality of Felanitx celebrates its patron saint, Sant Augustí, for two weeks every August. Each year offers new and exciting attractions: from the traditional firewalk to the "Schwellkopf" parade, from cake tastings to a grand fireworks display, the diverse program delights visitors from near and far. On June 16th, locals and tourists alike celebrate the Fishermen's Festival in Portocolom in honor of Saint Carmen. The procession is a sight to behold for everyone.
SIGHTSEEING AND ACTIVITIES
Around Portocolom, sun worshippers will find picturesque spots for a relaxing soak in the Mediterranean sun. Besides the scenic Cala Marcal bay, two popular beaches can be found opposite the harbor. Our tip for a day trip: the 14th-century fortress ruins of Castell de Santueri. On a clear day, you can enjoy spectacular views of the neighboring islands of Menorca and Ibiza.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
Portocolom's nightlife is tranquil: relaxation is the main focus here. Excellent restaurants and charming bars provide the perfect setting for cozy evenings in good company.
