Located in the unspoilt west of Mallorca, the dreamy Port d’Andratx awaits your visit. Surrounded by the gentle hills of the Serra de Tramuntana, the Cala en Fonoll is one of the most beautiful mooring sites on the island. The special atmosphere in the port of Andratx originates from the traditional fishing of the region. ISLA DRAGONERA
From Port Andratx an excursion to the offshore rock island “Sa Dragonera” is well worthwhile. The uninhabited island is under nature protection and offers an extraordinary variety of species. The island was named “Dragonera Island” after its jagged shape and the island’s own lizard, the Dragonera lizard. At the natural harbour of Cala Lladó, adventurous yacht travellers moor and explore the wildlife park by foot.
HIKING TOUR TO LA TRAPA
Active travellers explore their limits on a hike to the ruins of the monastery La Trapa. Past the romantic coastal town of Sant Elm through the untouched natural landscape of the region, hikers are spoilt at their destination with a fantastic panoramic view. From here it is clearly visible why the rocky island off the coast is called “Dragon Island”. The peaks rising from the water on the horizon resemble the jagged back of a dragon resting in the water – a mystical sight.
TIM’S BAR
Tim’s Bar in the port of Andratx has long been a legend. The lounge restaurant has been offering excellent food and refreshing drinks since 1978. On the terrace right next to the harbour, guests experience entertaining live sessions by local artists.
